Heat index increases for Friday

Overview: The heat and humidity will continue for Friday and the weekend, with high temperatures in the lower 90s and heat index values (feels like temperatures) around 100 degrees or hotter.

TONIGHT: Skies will be mostly clear, with a mild overnight low temperature of 70 degrees.

FRIDAY: Partly cloudy skies and hot temperatures return for Friday, with a high temperature of 93 degrees. A few rain showers and thunderstorms may develop during the afternoon and evening.

FRIDAY NIGHT: Partly cloudy skies with warm and muggy conditions continue, with overnight low temperatures around 73 degrees.

SATURDAY: The heat and humidity look to only increase this weekend, with partly cloudy skies, and high temperature around 91 degrees. The heat index will be 100+, with the chance for scattered rain showers and thunderstorms.

SATURDAY NIGHT: Partly cloudy skies, with warm and muggy conditions will continue for Saturday night, with a low temperature of 74 degrees.

SUNDAY: The high heat and humidity continue for Sunday, with a high temperature of 90 degrees, and heat indices at 100+ for most of the afternoon.

SUNDAY NIGHT: Skies will be partly cloudy, with a warm overnight low temperature of 75 degrees.

MONDAY: Partly cloudy skies and scattered rain showers will be possible, with a hot high temperature of 89 degrees.

MONDAY NIGHT: Partly cloudy skies continue, with a low temperature of 73 degrees.

TUESDAY: Partly cloudy skies and scattered rain showers and thunderstorms continue for Tuesday, with a high temperature of 88 degrees.

TUESDAY NIGHT: Skies will be partly cloudy, with an overnight low temperature of 71 degrees.

WEDNESDAY: Partly to mostly cloudy skies and scattered rain showers continue for Wednesday, with a high temperature of 89 degrees.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT: Skies stay partly cloudy with a low temperature of 72 degrees.

THURSDAY: Partly cloudy skies and scattered rain showers and thunderstorms will continue for Thursday, with a high temperature of 90 degrees.
