Coroner: Corbin Man Died From Injuries After December Assault

The Fayette County Coroner’s Office says a Corbin man has died from injuries he suffered in a December assault. It says 55-year-old Jimmie D. Peace died Wednesday night at UK Hospital. Man Accused Of Poisoning His Wife’s Coffee Pleads Guilty To Lesser Charge

A Madison County man who was accused of trying to kill his wife by poisoning her coffee, pleaded guilty to a lesser charge on Thursday, according to a report in the Lexington Herald-Leader newspaper.
