Kentucky Man Pleads Guilty In Investment Scam

OWENSBORO, Ky. (AP) – The owner of an investment company that promised big returns on deposits but delivered nothing has pleaded guilty to scamming investors out of nearly $500,000 in a mail and wire fraud scheme. Pleading guilty Tuesday in federal court was 27-year-old Cory George of Owensboro. George is scheduled for sentencing June 16. …
