Senate Passes Budget Plan

 The Senate passed a state budget Thursday by a vote of 32-4. It’s a two-year, $19.5 budget that cuts most state agencies and departments. It scraps cost-of-living increases for about 200,000 government retirees. The budget now goes to the House for consideration. House Passes Tornado Tax Relief Bill
